Our Company
Bowen & Watson, Inc., established in 1956, is one of the oldest and most experienced contractors in the Northeast Georgia area. We've built our reputation for excellence by constructing schools, warehouses, manufacturing and industrial plants, retail outlets, banks, and freezer storage facilities to serve the needs of our immediate community and the surrounding areas. While we concentrate our efforts in the Northeast Georgia area, Bowen & Watson, Inc. is licensed in South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana and Florida. Our vast experience in school construction has developed into somewhat of a specialty over our fifty-two year history. This specialty in school construction has become a catalyst of growth for Bowen & Watson. In 2006, Bowen & Watson was ranked 16th in the state of Georgia by volume by Southeast Construction Magazine.
Our History
Troy L. Bowen, Sr. and Harold L. Watson established Bowen & Watson, Inc. in 1956. Both men had worked in the construction industry all their lives before joining to form what has become one of the oldest and largest general contractors in Northeast Georgia. Both of our founders have retired but remain close to the Toccoa area. Kevin and Keith Watson, sons of Harold Watson, are now the owners of the company, having worked here as partners with their father for more than twenty-five years.
